Advocates and Resources – they need to work together. Too often counsel is presented with a problem and reaches for the first perceived solution on a website. It might be . . . maybe.

Richard Demarest brings the advocate and the resources he or she needs together in AdvocatesResources LLC.

AdvocatesResources LLC works with lawyers across the country in jury consultation support, complex case analysis/management, and trial presentation.

Richard has been a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 1985 and the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. His specialty is litigation support, not representation, and has participated in national teleconferences through the American Bar Association, lectured to the University of New Mexico School of Law, and presented seminars on complex litigation management with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He understands the conscientious advocate needs to spend the majority of his or her time working on the case, not the underlying details.

He currently manages all high felony and COCCA [Colorado Organized Crime Control Act] discovery processing in multiple-defendant grand jury cases for the Colorado Alternate Defense Counsel and is involved in several major federal cases where discovery exceeds 150,000 pages. His expertise was called upon to manage the 2.1 million pages of discovery and choreograph the 3,000-plus exhibit defense of Oklahoma City bombing co-conspirator Terry Nichols who was ultimately spared the death penalty.

Our mission is to assist the small- to medium-size firm in managing complex civil or criminal defense cases and to place them on an equal footing with opposing counsel.
